Tony's long-haul deal BUSINESSMAN Tony Raynor will almost go to any lengths to clinch a deal! The boss of Blackburn-based Abbey Telecom headed off on a 600-mile round trip on his 1500cc Honda Gold-wing motorbike after a new customer in Southampton insisted on wrapping up a deal on the day he rang for a quote. There wasn't a second to spare and it was certainly a tight schedule but it was a very important business deal for us, said Tony (right). The firm has also recently completed a contract to Install a new telephone system at St Wilfrid's High School, Blackburn. The system will save the school an estimated £1.000 a year in lease fees.
