GOING THE WHOLE H.O.G. A new delivery service for spare parts will be launched by Blackburn-based Abbey Telecom in the next few months - mounted on the UKs most expensive Harley-Davidson, an exclusive Screamin' Eagle Glide worth over £21,000, which boasts a 1,690cc engine. This bike wiil undergo a raft of modifications at Chapel Ash Harley-Davidson in Wolverhampton. The dealership has stripped down the engine for a full perfomance rebuild. The cylinder heads are being sent back to the USA for porting by a performance specialist in California and the cams, throttle body and fuel injection unit will also be replaced. The final tuning of the engine will be performed by a race engineer from BC Gerolamy who is flying in from the States for the project. The target outputs are 120 bhp and 120 Ib/ft of torque - so don't try and beat it away from the traffic lights!
