Adlamb finds new customers One advertiser happened across a waterproof alternative to the high cost of buying media, all for the low price of printing up some plastic sheep raincoats. Blackburn-based internet entrepreneur Tony Raynor came up with the plan to brand litlle lambs with his company's URL when he met farmer Andrew Taylor at a dinner. We suffered a particularly rainy start to February and like all farmers we're still adversely affected by BSE and foot and mount disease, explains Taylor. As you can imagine, cash for creature comforts such as lamb raincoats was hard to come by. Raynor, managing director of Abbey Telecom, had tried something similar on engineer's uniforms and vehicle liveries, but was thrilled to happen across some ad space on the farmer's sheep. The sponsorship deal gets us a field full of lambs on a prominent road into Lytham, which is home to a large number of company directors. This is just the type of target audience we're trying to attract to our new website www.whoisthis.co.uk, so the location is ideal.
