Review Incoming Calls
How to review incoming calls
Each station with a display phone is able to see the last 10-50 callers who have rung their station or group – whether answered or not. Leave your handset down when using this feature
If a CLIP (caller line identity presentation) button has been set up then you must press this key, then press the 1 st soft button under the display, this will read REVW. The display will now show CLEAR – NND – DIAL followed by an arrow.
CLEAR will delete this entry and show the next callers’ details (the volume keys will scroll through the list but this will not delete the entries) NND stands for NAME-NUMBER-DETAILS this will give all of this information in sequence as you press the NND soft key. If a CLIP directory has been programmed within the system admin then the caller’s name will appear in the display, if not it will read ‘no CLIP name’. NUMBER is the caller’s phone number which they dialled in on. DETAILS will show the date / time they called followed by which line they called in on i.e.705. DIAL will dial the caller back.
The ARROW is to indicate that you can use the SCROLL button which will take you to the STORE function; this will allow you to store this number in your personal directory.
If you have do not have a CLIP button set up you can access this feature by pressing the SCROLL button, this will display CALL-OTHER-ANS, hit the OTHER button and then press the SCROLL button twice, you will see CLIP. Proceed as above.
In order that you are able to use this feature your call provider e.g. BT must first allow you to receive inbound CLI. If a company does not have outbound CLI or are Ex-directory no information will be stored. Please note that if a caller has a direct line this may be different from the one that they have dialled in on, some companies only give out their main number and not individual ddi’s.
